In January of 2014, the class of 1970 students from across India and overseas arranged a science fair competition to encourage students in science and technology. 40 schools participated. The first prize was Rs. 111,000. The second prize was Rs. 51,000. The third prize was Rs. 25,000. Each school received Rs. 5,000 for participation.
